Description
A mix of recreational and fishing boats are kept at the few docks around Cape Breton Island. There is a bigger port at the south of the Island where cargo boats dock to unload. The docks are crowded in the early mornings with fishermen mingling about while they prep their boats for sea, and on weekends with families boating in good weather. The area is subject to many days of rougher waters, so only the bigger and/or more experienced fishing boats go out too far.
